MF-TOKYO 2025: Showcasing Cutting-Edge Press Technology

Under the slogan "Future is Here", Yamada Dobby presented the latest innovations in press technology at the MF-TOKYO 2025 exhibition. The event offered a unique opportunity to engage with customers and suppliers, highlighting the next generation of high-speed, high-precision machinery.

X2S-18
The newly developed X2S-18 concept machine attracted significant attention with its 5,000 SPM demonstration, impressing visitors with unprecedented speed. Built on the ALT-18 frame and driven by double servomotors, the machine features an adjustable stroke from 1 mm to 15 mm and a spherical gib slide guide (similar to the upcoming OMG-Series), achieving virtually zero clearance.

KTN-1000e
In collaboration with ASAI, YAMADA introduced a precision hydraulic press specialized for deep drawing. Equipped with a spherical gib guide, it achieves an angularity tolerance of 0.002 mm, ensuring exceptional squareness. Demonstrations utilized a 2D transfer unit for optimized process performance.
Main specifications:

  • Press capacity: 1000 kN

  • Descending/ascending speed: 400 mm/s

  • Daylight: 1000 mm

  • Stroke length: 500 mm

  • Bolster/slide size: 1200x750 mm

LineVision (YPC-24)
YAMADA showcased the LineVision press control system, featuring a dual-panel HMI setup with modular subpanels to monitor all peripheral devices in real time. Integrated third-party devices included feeders, detectors, and sensors, while the system also connects seamlessly with MES and YAMADA's remote maintenance system.

MKS Friction Welding Machine
Visitors were impressed by YAMADA's MKS friction welding machine for plastics, combining press stroke know-how with a compact horizontal vibration mechanism (2 mm width). The design allows fast, easy setup and efficient production, demonstrating YAMADA's expertise in applying press technology beyond traditional stamping.

MF-TOKYO 2025 confirmed YAMADA's position at the forefront of high-speed, precision, and versatile press solutions, showcasing both market-proven machinery and innovative concepts that define the future of metal forming.
